The rails themselves are of high quality, heavy duty and durable steel construction with smooth operation. I have never bought soft close sliders and was very impressed when I saw them in action. The drawers slide smoothly and it's a pleasure to see them close quietly when you push the door shut. The front of the drawer on these slides has a neon green lid, which makes them look a bit toy-like, but don't worry - these aren't toys, they're high-quality, inexpensive slides. I was also impressed that they came with mounting screws and instructions that were concise and to the point. slides. The screws included in the kit are wood screws, but the traditional option for fastening metal to wood is a button head or anchor head. I used Rok #8 x 1/2" pan head screws to install the first pair of screws on the sides of my cabinet. The mounting holes on the back of the rail only fit smaller screws, but that's okay. Overall I'm very happy with these guides and the cost for a pack of 5 full size 22" screws can't be beat. Extension, 100lb load, steel ball bearings, soft close drawer slides.
