I like glasses so much I have three of them. This left me with enough spouts, and I was ready to take one of the CARB spouts apart and convert it into something close to a non-CARB spout that is available elsewhere at Revain for a small amount of money. I loosened the screw at the top of the nozzle and the three small screws holding the plastic to the red metal. Looking into the end, remove the small o-ring, which allows the outer assembly to slip off. I cut the inner nozzle to get rid of the obstruction and widen it a bit. I cut the red vent tube and drilled a vent hole in the top of the nozzle near the base - same spot drilled in the non-CARB nozzle. Carefully remove all dirt. Works well. I should add that I don't leave this spout on my glass; I only plug it in when I want to dose gas, so the whole CARB compatibility feature was nothing short of a headache.
