I read another review that mentioned a user issue. I assumed it was an aberration; no such luck. The first thing I tried squeezing out of strawberries was a paste. The second item, spinach leaves, was juiced fairly well, but when I took it apart to clean it, I found about 10 spinach leaves, still whole, in the chopping area. Third, some green beans managed to crumple the juicer. The pulp didn't stand out, although there was a lot of foam in the jar, but when I took it apart to clean it, the lid wouldn't open. Instead of breaking it, I repackaged the device and sent it back. Then I went back and re-read a previous comment on this exact issue and saw that the curved tool provided should be used whenever the machine parts are stuck, but when you use it you rip off the cheap plastic tab that is holding that makes the device not only unusable and unclean, but also fragile. So I'm glad I didn't try it. Why is it so hard to find a juicer that will squeeze/extract the juice from vegetables without turning the jug into a frothy manure reservoir?
