Works as advertised but charging tip is a bit short for HP Elitebook x360 G2

TLDR: N36 charging tip was too short for my laptop, kept disconnecting; Cut with a knife to expose more metal parts and it will work (stay) much better. Since I travel a lot for work, I wanted to get an additional charger for my work laptop (HP Elitebook x360 G2). I chose this product as the reviews were pretty solid, the price seemed reasonable and the charger also comes with two USB ports which I thought would be handy for charging my phone. The product works as advertised and comes with a mini manual so you know which chargers to use. The charging tips are pretty easy to toggle on and off too. For my laptop I used an N36 charging tip and when plugged in it charges my laptop with no problems (i.e. the computer recognizes the charger, no "unrecognized charger" window pops up). The USB ports also work well. The charger gets quite warm with prolonged use, but that's pretty typical for chargers in my experience. The main reason I'm giving stars in my review is that the tip of the charger is slightly shorter than my original manufacturer's charger. In the picture I took you can see that one of the tips is about a millimeter or two longer than the other. In this case, size matters. A little wiggle or movement and the device easily disconnects from my laptop and stops charging. Because of the size, the charging tip is incredibly delicate and can even detach on its own if the laptop is simply tilted in that direction (e.g. by gravity). If you use your laptop primarily at your desk, this isn't a problem, but it can still shut down from time to time. To solve the short/length issue, I used an X-ACTO knife to carefully cut about a millimeter of the black plastic casing around the metal tip. So far it's working and the fork is holding up much better.
