I Give Hair Bands 5 Stars. 4 because the first set I received had the colors shown in the photo: Dark Brown, Light Brown, Dark Blue, Maroon, Black. I was so happy to receive them, they are exactly what I wanted so I ordered a second set. They arrived in pastel colors including white so I sent them back. Unfortunately, once you place an order, there is no way of knowing what you will receive. Some reviewers say the straps are too thin, small, or loose. They're perfect for small heads and fine to medium hair, especially if you don't like the feel of a tight band. They break down over time (a year or more in my experience) but for a dollar a piece I don't see that as a problem so I tried to buy a second set. Haven't been able to find them in stores in years, apart from a wider band of bright colors, so it's nice to see "narrow" laces here.
