I got this specifically for a second screen for my laptop when I'm not at home and so far it's pretty much what I was hoping for. The picture quality is excellent and it has very good viewing angles. (Actually slightly better than the non-IPS panel in my laptop). The built-in speakers are perhaps the only weak point of this monitor. They work but the sound quality is not that loud and not very good. The speakers in my laptop are much better. However, if you have this panel connected to a phone, they could be an improvement in that case. The included case is magnetic on one side, easy to remove and works well as a stand too. It also comes with a USB-C cable, Micro HDMI to HDMI cable, USB-A to USB-C cable, and a 5V 2.4A USB charger, a welcome upgrade of ultra-short cables that many devices come with these days). Functionally, I just want slightly narrower edges on the panel since it's actually a bit wider than my laptop (although that's pretty trivial). What I really like about this panel is its compatibility. . I knew beforehand that my own HP laptop doesn't support USB-C display or Power Delivery, but since this LCD also has an HDMI input, it works quite well. After testing, I was also happy that the USB-C port on my laptop was able to deliver enough power to power the panel without the need for an external charger. This means that when I travel I only need to take the panel, an HDMI to micro HDMI cable and a USB-C cable. If your laptop supports USB-C display, you'll most likely only need a USB-C cable (depending on how much power your laptop can deliver, although I expect most will do). If your laptop supports USB-C PD charging, the pad has USB-C ports on both sides and appears to support pass-through power, although I don't know how much power it can handle (I've had no issues charging mine at least one phone). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to support transferring data to another USB-C port (I wasn't expecting this, but thought it was worth a try). I also tested this on my phone, but unfortunately my Pixel doesn't support a USB-C display, which isn't a panel bug. So if you want to use it with your phone, be sure to check if your phone supports an external display. I personally really like this monitor for use with my laptop and highly recommend it!
