Review on ๐Ÿ’ป Lexar 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive, High-Speed Read, Zinc Alloy Jump Drive for Computer, PC, Laptop, Bluetooth Speaker, External Storage: Data, Photos, Videos by Vladimir Castillo

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Fragile zinc alloy case

It arrived in perfect condition and then I completely destroyed it by taking it out of the plastic packaging with my bare hands. I've never been able to try this, so I have no idea if it works. So someone might ask "How can you give it 3 stars?!" A: I'm not really writing this review to rate it, but I really don't have a choice, so I'm aiming for a "neutral" rating. I'm writing this to warn people that while this drive may be perfectly fine, it's important to realize that the case is made out of a fairly soft, brittle zinc alloy and not aluminum or steel like some others. I suppose it could be a perfectly good drive but if you do get one be careful with it as it actually isn't as solid as the pictures make it look. If you plan on keeping it in your laptop bag, purse, or desk drawer I think it's probably perfectly fine, but I wouldn't recommend using it on a keychain or even in a pocket. I would also like to say that I contacted Lexar and they kindly apologized for the issue, although I openly admitted that I destroyed it myself just to get it out of the plastic tray it was in. Revain gave me a full refund so I'm not upset at all. I just want to help people get a clear picture of what I think is perfectly normal for a lot of people, but not all.
