I was VERY skeptical when I tried this, but I'm a total newbie.- First of all, the jar is SMALL. I was sad because $$. You only need a little though - I wet my toothbrush, dip it in the jar and apply to the surface. It easily lasts me at least a month and I recommend it to skeptics or people who like to switch flavors frequently. EFFECT: No foam, so it can be confusing at first. You spit less and notice when you've gone through all your teeth - This reduced the cleaning time. I'm gradually switching to natural toothpastes, so I'm used to the cinnamon or fennel flavor. If you are used to VERY STRONG minty toothpastes (most commercial fluorides) this may sound very strange to you. Basically, it's like brushing your teeth with baking soda. You can feel the powder getting between your teeth. After that there was very little floss. POST: - My teeth were SO CLEAN. So pure. Here's what convinced me - lately I've had a weird case of bad breath (not just in the mornings, but during the day). I invested in tongue scrapers, natural mouthwashes, etc. but still had to take care of my breath throughout the day. 2am after using this so far: - NO HEALTH next morning. I'm excited. Not sure why it took me so long to try this, but if you're interested I highly recommend it. X
