FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS (plus my tips below)!

A must for trackers that protrude from your wrist like the Approach X40/Vivosmart HR, these little guards will save you a lot of scratching troubles. They're cheap and effective, and a pack of 6 will likely last the life of your device. You install wet and you MUST follow the instructions. Yes, they're a little finicky, but they work flawlessly every time if you have a little patience. IMPORTANT: You'll need to be extra patient with an item like the Approach that has a curved screen on the sides. After you get wet and apply the shield, simply leave it on for a few minutes to allow it to dry. It will NOT stick/wrap around curved edges instantly. Before you start, make sure you clean the screen well with the small cloth provided. Even if everything is perfect, after cleaning and before applying the protectant, there may still be a small speck of dust. It stinks, but it happens. The one I just applied in the picture is 99.5% perfect but I did have a tiny speck of dust after cleaning that you can see in the bottom left corner if you look closely. Barely noticeable and doesn't affect anything, so I let it slide. After a few minutes you can make sure the screen is properly centered and then place your thumb in the center of the screen from one end and then slide your finger along each side to secure the screen. along the edges. If it's not stuck yet, wait a minute or two and try again. At some point it will stick. Try to make sure you have the same amount of "bumps" on each side to apply them evenly. The whole procedure took me about half an hour, on and off. I find it best to place your thumb in the middle of one side of the screen and use your other thumb and forefinger to sweep the sides while pressing lightly. I also run my thumb over the surface, paying special attention to the edges so everything sticks and the tiny bubbles go away.
