I'm 5ft 6", 198lbs, pear shaped, chest 38B, waist 36", hips 48". I'm XXL and it fits snugly around my hips which makes the slits on the sides of the sweater stick out a bit and makes it look messy. The white shirt underneath has ZERO stretch so if you feel like going up a size then go for it. Except for the hip area, I felt it fit well everywhere and yes, it's soft and comfortable. I've been losing weight lately, so I think I'll stick with it. :) ps Very well ironed with steam on low heat. I suspect another reviewer had an overheated iron which burned it. user error.
