I got the COTEY Silicone Faucet Mat to catch water falling off my hand whenever I turned of the faucet so I wouldn't have to wipe water, sometimes soapy, off the counter every time I washed something.I have been completely satisfied with the job it does.The depth and width providing sufficient space to catch water and store typical kitchen sink items.My faucet is the single handle type that measures 2.5 inches in diameter. The mat fits around it as designed. It also hangs over the lip of my sink about a quarter inch and is tapered so that water drains into the sink and does not wick onto the counter under the mat. The video I added demonstrates water draining off into the sink and a paper towel under the mat remaining dry.This mat is economically priced, so it's good to recognize it's limits and set your expectations accordingly. It is a little light weight and the drain "fins" are spaced a bit wide apart. It will accommodate a sponge, wash cloth or bar of soap with out problem . Smaller, less than 2 inches wide, or heavy items (say bottle of wine) have a very small chance of tipping over when set on the fins in particular ways. Another reviewer correctly points out that a hand soap bottle, when pumped while sitting on this mat may bend the fins and be unstable.
