Pros: This is an elegant power supply - very pretty. He seemed silent most of the time. while it worked. A decent amount of cable options and connectivity - it seemed like a good power supply. Cons: died 30 minutes after zipping up my new build - just "puff" - black screen - dead. Luckily I was still in the testing phase and didn't work on anything major, but time is valuable too. I've tried resetting it, letting it install for about an hour, followed all recommended troubleshooting steps (holding the power button while unplugged etc etc). but he refused to turn the system back on. I pulled and replaced a known good PSU from another system and the system works fine. The maximum power consumption of this system very briefly reaches 550 W (<10 seconds), but at the "heaviest" load it averages about 430 W, and at idle - 105 W. As far as I know, this should be an 850 W PSU not dead.
