Review on New York Toner CLI 221 Replacement by Stuart Dunn

This was the second time I've ordered this ink from the stock cartridges. These cartridges fit my Canon MP560 snugly and the ink seems quite bright and vibrant. However, I think there might be a problem with the cartridges' computer chips. When my blue and yellow cartridges from my first order ran out of ink and stopped printing, the printer monitor indicated that they were nearing the end of their life and had some ink left. Also, when I opened the magenta cartridge for my second order, a few drops of ink came out. I was able to catch it with my hand but if it fell on the carpet it would be a problem. I recommend that you remove the tape from the cartridges over something that can catch any ink drips (e.g. a plastic bag, plate, sink, etc.). Overall these cartridges are good value for money so I will most likely be ordering more in the future.
