Expensive but worth it for kittens transitioning from milk to solids. The pieces are smaller than competing brands so you don't have to grind them up to fit tiny kitty mouths. And I've yet to have a kitten dislike the taste. It's what we recommend to all our foster 'moms' in our Loving Care Cat Rescue operation and last year we saved over 600 kitties, most of them orphaned or saved from Feral colonies! We usually exist on donations and that can be anything from cheap to expensive, but for 3-6 week old kittens, I buy Royal Canin myself to be sure the babies get a great start (and to save me from having to put dry Friskies thru the food chopper to make the pieces smaller).
