The software allows us to have full control over our drawings whether they are stored locally, online (SOLIDWORKS cloud) or even via 3rd party storage solutions like Dropbox etc. This has enabled my team members to work from home without having access to their drawing environment when needed which previously would mean working out of hours until we could get back into an office space that was connected to SOLIDworks Cloud infrastructure. I am unable to think about any issues as such but if you're looking for something cheap then this may suit your needs? We originally bought it because we wanted better versioning capability so we didn't lose previous versions but also had the ability to view all changes since last time checked - however there were no major benefits other than those two features. For example being able to see what changed between revisions isn't really useful unless you actually need to reference them against eachother to compare differences (which doesn't happen very often.
