Review on ONE80 90% VHD Steel Tip Tungsten Dart Set - Professional Barrel Style with Bonus Flights, Shafts, and Sharpener - Gift Box Packaging by John Miranda

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A terrible pointed hat that doesn't stay sharp for very long.

These arrows would get 4 or 5 points if they gave them more points. This was my first set of tungsten darts and I didn't realize how sharp the tip holding the blade could prevent recoil. My next set were red dragons and they held the edge for a few days instead of sharpening it every 4 or 5 casts. I only sharpen all of my other sets when they hit something other than the board, and I rarely have to. Not this one. A buddy of mine who was making tungsten at the same time got red kites first and thought I was crazy for not having to touch his tips as I sharpen mine every other throw. I thought it was normal, but it isn't. My next set was the cheaper Red Dragon and that's actually my favorite throw. My friend has the same set and loves to throw with it too. I got another set of red dragons and three different sets of harrows mainly because of the lower price and better points. My most expensive set was this and it's in my car. In other words, I forgot about them and don't really want to sharpen my darts while my competitor is walking around, why shouldn't he do anything but throw his. These are good darts, but you will either buy better ones for a lower price or forgo the darts. Harrows also have a sharp point, so they're not suitable unless you're happy to waste money. If you're just starting out, get a cheaper set of red dragons or harrows. While I'm not serious about this game, I can find decent sets for less than $30. I would not recommend buying them for someone I like. If you are different, take two sentences. If you're a decent person, take something else. I still have a lot of experiments, but not with this or that brand. I hope this helps someone and if you don't believe me all you have to do is go and ask my group what I think of them. Oh yeah. They're locked in my glove box in case I'm in a desperate situation. It's really sad because I love every other set I've bought more than this one, including non-tungsten darts. I went with what people said in the reviews. Use this review or buy some extra sharpeners to go with it. Hell, you might need an electric sharpener or grinder to keep your hand from scuffing.
