Just note that this is better suited for larger birds. A parakeet may be fine with this, as may small parrots of other species. The steps are quite big and too far apart for my finches. It can be attached to the bars at the top and bottom and used as a ladder or bridge. It is flexible so it can be bent into other shapes as well. What I really dislike is that on the first wash the light colors will run off and dirty your hands and everything they touch. I believe they should be made out of bits of plastic so they can be washed. You must be able to clean them, and painted wooden parts do not retain their color. Maybe there's a dye that wouldn't run?
