Got this as a dog bed for camping. We got an XL for a 80lb bloodhound puppy. She fits great on it, it is washable and I believe the fabric will be atleast water resistant. We turned it upside down in the house so the zippers dont scratch the wood. It is not fluffy really, but you can take put the inside bag, and put fluff or memory foam in it especially for bigger dogs their joints take a beating so extra padding for nap time is needed I feel. (Which is what we will be doing.) for the price we knew we would probably need to modify with better fluff so can't complain. Its ok.
