Bad design and missing screws. Two plastic parts, LED strip cable and power supply. The device works, but its design limits its use and lifespan. again. (and yes, so close to the water that it gets wet) Simply designing the plastic pieces to drain away instead of inward will solve the problem. 2) How about we move the switch outward so you don't have to take the hood off? enable or disable? (This would also be better for the switch as we are collecting water in the block) 3) The block comes without 2 of the 4 bolts but the bolts are cheap so they start to rust within 6 months anyway. 4) You have screwed the device to the aquarium. Proper cutout allows for full movement while allowing for screwless removal. Notches that allow the top to snap in place prevent screws from rusting. The tank and the old block are rusted, you have little choice but to pay the price. Seal the lamp with silicone, it will last much longer. 2 stars for poor design and cost.
