Always wanted a ferret but was afraid of getting one because of the smell. Well, I finally decided to take a chance. When I first got it, the smell was unpleasant. I walked past the room where I keep it and I smelled it. I tried new bedding for him and changed his food and it helped a lot but the smell was still strong so I decided to give it a try. I am happy to say that it works, it almost no longer smells. After a few days the difference was amazing. Now I can enjoy my ferret and not have to worry about the strong smell. I change the water and clean the bottle every other day. It's clear and doesn't smell, so I think people who had black goo or whatever had a bad batch. He hasn't had any health issues since taking it and doesn't seem to mind the taste at all. All in all, I'm so glad I found this and tried it!
