I think they work as intended, I got them because my oculus was getting uncomfortable and I thought they would help. No haha personally it's not comfortable for me, it flattens my cheekbones a bit but I have very high sharp cheekbones. My husband's face is rounder and he says it helps protect the headset. However, we bought it over a month ago and have only used it once or twice. Tip: If you're having trouble with the Oculus being uncomfortable on your face, try wearing glasses! I thought it would be awkward so I didn't put mine on at first but oh my god once I decide to try I'll never go back haha, MUCH more comfortable and it allows the headset to be a bit looser because the lower frame closes any gap. Don't forget to press the points button. If you don't have prescription glasses, try blue light time glasses!
