Good for soft storage but that's it
I bought these for garden storage which was a bad idea. They're fully upholstered, meaning they're a wire frame on the sides with stretch denim wrapped around the entire basket and a piece of fabric-wrapped cardboard on the bottom. The material is thin, I wouldn't even call it denim. I could use them for stuffed animals on a high shelf, but I wouldn't buy them for anything heavier, let alone anything with remotely sharp edges. But even if the filled items don't fit, the container will be bulging and won't fit on the shelf.
