So I got them today so can't comment on the time test but it was just what I was looking for. I have black/black vans. I have a women's foot size 10-10.5. They make my legs look average, not clownish. I'll report back in the middle of the school year on how they held up. They are comfortable although I received the shoes in a slightly larger size than I expected. But they go well with jeans and leggings, so I'm happy.
