I had a problem with Android Auto. I kept getting phone incompatibility messages and kept getting disconnected. All apps and phone software are up to date. I've tried different cables and even phones. So I decided to try these cables and this was the solution. No more trouble. You need high-speed cables for all of this to work properly. The radio installation instructions say nothing about this. So I hope this helps someone.
