My grandson only uses these nose plugs for Special Olympics swim training and competitions. He has a sensory processing disorder, is autistic and is very sensitive to anything he wears. The flexible, bendable metal clip gives him full control over how tightly they sit on his nose. The strap means he won't lose them in the pool. The downside is that it breaks over time due to the constant bending of the wire. to be expected. But they take a very long time for that to happen, at least in our experience. We keep 3 or 4 pairs of these nose clips ready and attach the pair he wears to his glasses. He's a happy little boy.
