When buying cheap fixed gear bicycle parts there are always pros and cons, but for me personally the cons seem to outweigh the pros. After doing some research I decided that mag wheels would be my best bet for freestyle riding due to strength and lack of necessary maintenance, however after only one ride I found myself very disappointed in this product. These wheels are noticeably heavier than a traditional spoked wheel which completely changes the riding feel, crosswinds are very notable at high speeds, and these wheels flex A LOT. When doing tricks such as fish and chips and keo spins, the wheels flex and rub the inside of the frame and forks causing damage to the wheels and bicycle components. These wheels would be perfect for someone looking to build a decent commuter bike on a budget, and the bolt on style cog completely prevents slipping while doing skids and stopping. Overall I am not impressed with these for my own personal riding style, but they do seem to be a very nice alternative to traditional spoked wheels for the price.
