I used Angetube as a video capture device to be able to create tutorial videos. The installation was very close to Plug and Play (P&P). Just plug in the cables and at least for Windows 10, the drivers will be installed automatically. It comes with HDMI and USB, so you only need one cable to connect your video device's output. The HDMI passthrough worked for a second or two after I plugged in the USB port the device draws its power from. I almost said P&P because there is software that needs to be downloaded and installed from obsproject.com. The location for the software download is given in the brochure supplied with the device. The software requires some setup and after a little learning I was busy recording videos. The recordings were the same quality as the input, which was 1080P. Attached is a screenshot of the Angetube video output showing the video surveillance system output. Response to mouse movements and video was instantaneous. The case is beautifully crafted from durable aluminum and painted red, the paint will not scratch. It requires abuse and will last forever. It also weighs almost nothing, very, very light. I am very happy with the device and it will be very convenient to create instructional videos.
