Review on πŸ”Š NFC-Enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System by HomeSpot by Demetrius Patsion

Great bluetooth receiver! Doesn't connect automatically, that's exactly what I don't want!

I used to have a Logitech Bluetooth receiver connected to my stereo, which would automatically connect to any Bluetooth device as soon as it recognized it. The only way to prevent this is to leave the receiver unplugged or unplug Bluetooth from my devices until I'm ready to run them through my stereo. If I were to use Bluetooth hands-free in my car while listening to music or talking on my iPhone, and then pulling into my driveway not knowing the receiver was connected, the receiver would automatically pick up the signal coming from my iPhone. Then we got the Echo Dot and I found that like my iPhone, the Echo connected automatically. We can't hear Alexa answering us because the Echo automatically connects to the receiver and the stereo input doesn't turn on. I didn't want to keep changing Bluetooth Echo settings or disconnecting and reconnecting my Logitech receiver. This was a real first world problem and I needed a solution! So I found a HomeSpot bluetooth audio receiver and it works great! Does not connect automatically! I can leave it on all the time and it won't intercept my Bluetooth connections. I have a Harmony Hub. So when I want to talk to Alexa over my stereo or listen to music, I say "turn on stereo" and it turns on the stereo and selects the input that HomeSpot is connected to. Then I say "Connect to Bluetooth". It connects easily, and then I can ask them to turn on music, news, or trifles. I never have to disable anything or toggle Bluetooth settings. If you're looking for this type of setup, I highly recommend getting a HomeSpot receiver. This solved my problem and works great!
