I've purchased different types of cable sleeves, made out of different materials (e.g., neoprene foam) and using different methods of being secured (e.g., zippers, clips). But these simple cable sleeves are clearly my favorite: they LOOK THE BEST, they are EASIEST TO ATTACH & UNATTACH, they are very much the EASIEST TO ADAPT, and EASIEST TO ATTACH TO EACH OTHER, in case you need to connect more than one piece/length of this stuff as I did. When I needed to make a way for only one (of many) cables in a length of this stuff to exit before the rest of the cables, and I needed to do this several times, it only took a very easy cut with everyday scissors to create an opening that worked perfectly, while leaving the entire thing looking as if it was meant to allow that cable to exit there. You can't even see where I cut it: it just looks like a solid length of the sleeve with the black material looking continuous still. It was just as easy and VERY USEFUL to be able to cut the entire sleeve into lengths that fit my needs. There's six feet to each one, but who is always going to need exactly 6' every time? All you have to do, again, is use common scissors to easily cut straight across it in order to create custom lengths that are perfect for what you need. And with any leftover lengths, as noted above, you can simple wrap it at one end around a bit of the end of another length of the sleeve, and two sleeves look exactly like one longer one. You'd have to bend down to actually see that there's an almost invisible seam where one length ends and attaches to another! As far as appearance, I love how these things are very simple, unmarked black. There's no brand logo or other printing on them, which is great for my needs since I'm using these mostly in a production studio. They look optimally professional since they're just plain black, with no visible seams. And while I don't know if they intended this, you can choose between a shiny appearance if you wrap them one way, or on the reverse side, you have the option of a flat black appearance. The Velcro attaches either way you want them.Iโm going to edit this review to add some photos I took (I just need to go thru a whole bunch to pick a few & maybe crop them) to show MUCH better how useful, how professional, & how attractive these cable sleeves from Melca are, including showing where I cut little invisible openings to allow a cable to exit before the end, and also to show how multiple lengths can seem seamless when attached. But for now, I just posted a couple that donโt do justice to Melcaโs product here, but that show how even the leftover bits can be useful. I had just a short length leftover after binding a long, thick bunch of cables, and noticed a spot where I could use it. You can see the before and after. Please come back (soon) to see MUCH better pics of how these sleeves work, and SOOOO much better than several other types Iโve tried.I hope you find what youโre looking for, and also hope that whatever you buy, youโll be as overjoyed as I am with these Melca products!
