Nice to have, but not for artists. I bought this because I poked the tip of a pencil while drawing and thought it would help. The silicone does not stick firmly to the pencil, making it difficult to draw. It also doesn't charge your pencil when it's on. It is weakly magnetic to the iPad when placed on it, but can fall off easily if hit. The only thing I like about it, I have to say, is how it feels in the hand. In addition, I will consider other options.
