We have an oven from the same company and we like it much better than the sink. However, all of our younger children (3, 6, 9) will play with it and the stove from time to time. The kid we bought it for (3) loves to push the buttons and open/close the dishwasher. His doll plays with plates, etc. Most of the time, however, he uses dishes from this oven, but sometimes he also plays with this set. That said, if you're deciding between a sink and an oven, go with the oven. It is more educational (numbers, fractions) and valuable for the game. If you already have an oven, this is a great addition to the fun! I had to put a piece of tape on the speaker. Even at low volume it was too loud for me.
