Review on Google - Pixel 3A With 64GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Purple-Ish by Steven Ross

This is my 48-72 hour review. I bought this to replace a Moto G4 Play which served me well but ran on a second battery and sometimes froze and asked me to remove the battery to restart. Since becoming a Moto fan thanks to my G4 Play, I've been looking at the G7 Play and Power. The slightly larger G7 looked worth considering, then the Pixel 3a came out for the same price, factoring in a $100 gift card. I read several reviews and the best camera was sold to me. I jumped in by opting for a Revain gift card instead of a Best Buy offer. The phone looks good, still fits in my pocket and I can easily use it with one hand. The screen looks sharp and I really like the camera after a day or two of gaming. I need to know more about that. I LOVE the call screening feature, which I'm not sure is Pixel or OS specific. I changed my service on Thursday evening but needed a new, smaller SIM card which ATT gave me as I continued to service them. On Friday I turned my phone off and on during the day, mostly setting it up, adding work email and calendar, etc. I also walked around campus with it and tested the camera on about a dozen photos. When I got home from work, the battery was down to 17 percent. 17! I've read that it doesn't have a very good battery, but it will last me through the day. 17:00 will not be shortened. So what can you decide in one day? I got up this morning, Saturday, and did some surfing and played some online games. Now my game is limited to word puzzles and backgammon rather than graphics intensive games. The battery, charged the night before, had dropped to 37 percent by midday. Now I'm very apprehensive about using this on an upcoming trip or relying on it for work or travel. I really like the phone but I can't go on like this. I may have to send it back. Anyone else have battery problems like this? On the plus side, the included charger charges the phone fairly quickly. But I won't have the time or outlets to charge it while playing Camper.
