I had a check engine light on my 2007 Lexus RX350, code was cylinder #2 misfire, changed spark #2, changed ignition coils, still said misfire cylinder #2, the weird thing is I got it every Time would go to clear the code my scanner would say "Are you sure you want to clear this emissions code?" So I checked the purge valve and it was working properly so I bought this gas cap and there was No check engine light for over a month. I can only assume that the check valve in the old gas cap was stuck open, letting the unaccounted for air in to the intake manifold
