Review on ๐ŸŒž USB+AA Solar Charger by PowerFilm by Kenny Rossi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If you're in the woods, you really can't beat solar unless you have a hydroelectric generator.

It could have been better to charge AA and AAA batteries. It can charge more than 2 batteries at the same time. In the future I will upgrade if this company comes out with something better. An outlet would be nice to charge something. I solved this problem by buying a USB charger to take with me to charge the AAA flashlight batteries. You must have batteries in the Sol charger for the USP jack to work. Maybe that will be fixed in the future. The block is light. You never know what might happen. So it's always good to have a load with you when you're trekking through the woods with nothing but a backpack, full of gear and your wits. I charged my Zune with this device so I now have 120GB of music to listen to in the woods. I have to charge the device every 8 hours so if I'm hanging out at camp in the bright sun and relaxing to music at night it will last 8 hours of charging. I can tie it to my backpack with 550 cord. Very cool. This is a great feature to keep you mobile. I wouldn't want to stop just to recharge my batteries. Solar power is a practical choice for those of us who want to disappear into a national park for a month, but don't want to completely give up modern conveniences like LED headlights, cameras, night vision goggles and MP3 players. . :) Even though it takes quite a long time to recharge, HAOOOO it's a lot better than nothing if returning to civilization isn't an option.
