Please note this suit is not sold as a post op suit but as a dog pajama. I bought this to try on my cat who has an over grooming issue that causes her to lick her fur and even open sores in the process. In the past we've used other products specifically labeled as aftercare suits, but it's hard to find one made for cats. I was hoping it would work, but it had serious problems.1. The fabric is VERY light. If you want something for warm weather that would be great, but for my cat it was so thin he could easily pierce it with his teeth and even "lick" the spot he wanted to clean through his wetsuit. area in the saliva. The fabric is not very durable and my cat quickly tore his arms and neck with tooth stitches. Once there was a small hole in the fabric, it was easy to tear/enlarge.2. It's VERY stretchy. So stretchy that my cat's neck hole started to slide lower and lower within a day or two.3. The clicks are not very strong. They release/release with less pressure than most fasteners I've seen. There was also enough room on the side of the suit near the neck for a few more shots, but they were missing, making the hole in the neck very large. I ended up using safety pins to poke a hole higher on my cat's neck. Even with a dog the same size as my cat, I have a feeling this will be an issue. Again, I reiterate based on my experience with the cat and the need for a post-operative suit. Your experience may vary. The materials were very soft and, apart from the points mentioned above, made a well-made impression. The size chart seems very accurate. My cat's measurements showed an average size and this size was perfect for him, except for the unusually large neckline.
