True to size, but you have to be careful. Reduce the size to the smallest possible while still being able to take the size off your finger. Once you get the right size it should go on, but it shouldn't be easy to pull off. I believe many people will settle for a larger size than they need because the size is made of thin and light plastic and is easier to stay in place. A real ring will shift and twist on your finger if it gets too big. It took 3 attempts to put it on my fiance but we ended up going for a size 10 - when his ring arrived it fit perfectly! We tried the little paper napkins that you print out and they said it was 11-11.5. I'm glad we bought this size and tried it a few times at different times of the day. This size works if you use it correctly. Once you find the size you think is right, take it off the size ring and wear it all day and see how it feels all day long. You have to wear the ring for the rest of your life, so take your time ;)
