Purchased lamps for an old microwave. I needed some light on the stove under the microwave. These are "old school" lamps that emit a very large amount of heat along with a small amount of light. I must have gotten so used to LED lighting that I forgot how inefficient the old incandescent bulbs were. I think some light is better than no light.
