At first I was just looking for a good beard oil but then I came across this whole set and decided to give it a try. I chose the Gold Scent Kit and it's fantastic. GF loves it and it's definitely not overwhelming. just the right amount of flavor. My problem is that my beard hair is very thick and frizzy and I find it difficult to control and style it. it tends to look fluffy and wiry. Jelly oil is a unique product. There is nothing like it. I've used all kinds of products and I can honestly say this jelly is the way to go. When I've used up all my other items, I'll move on to this one from now on. The jelly offers excellent hydration and good hold without being overly greasy. The consistency is perfect! What immediately struck me was the value of this jelly. A 4 ounce bottle of jelly costs about the same as the 1 ounce bottle of oil I was looking at. I've only tried the balm once so far, but it was great too. It emulsifies well and due to the container and can size it can be used as a travel/on-the-go product if needed. I don't have a handlebar mustache but as a test I tried the MUDstache wax all over my beard to see how it worked as a beard wax and it was amazing! It worked better than other beard waxes I have and helped control all of my flyaways throughout the day. Again. not too greasy and that's great! Haven't tried the Fortify conditioner yet as I have an old conditioner but I'm sure it will work well with other products. Same goes for the metal beard comb that comes with it - haven't tried it yet but it's certainly sturdy and looks like a quality product. I don't usually post many reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience. because I'm too happy with this kit so far. I look forward to trying other flavors on my next reorder. Keep it up Bossman!
