Works as expected, most of the time

My laptop doesn't have a built-in card reader. I have several card readers but none support card lock setting. Therefore, the computer writes to the card. My CPAP device card requires the card to be locked before data can be received, otherwise it will not recognize the card when it is reinstalled and formatted. I was hoping that this reader would see that the card was write protected and would prevent it. It's not like this. My issue aside, this reader is great. Very easy to use and FAST!
