Great little scale. Slim and lightweight, easy to store and carry around the kitchen or office. I think it's great that he's reaching 11 pounds. My old scale only showed 5 pounds, and when canning, it's important to weigh ingredients and follow recipes exactly. The high resilience and the hold function help a lot. The scale is very sensitive, every touch of the device affects the weight on the display. So be sure to wait a second and let the weight rest before recording the weight. I love the battery! My old scale contained button batteries which I never had on hand and which of course would always run out when I really needed them! The removable metal scale plate also makes cleaning easier! The blue backlit display and large digits make the scale easy to read, but I wish there were more visible lettering on the buttons. Grayscale function keys with raised gray letters or symbols for power, tare, hold, and units of measure. It's very difficult to read. I found I had to kind of step back and turn my head back and forth to see the buttons. I'm sure I'll remember the buttons over time as I use the scale more, but a bit of contrast wouldn't hurt when weighing (check out what I did there 😉)! All in all I'm happy with my new scale with the bright blue display, battery and removable scale plate!
