Review on Snap Monster Magnetic Embroidery Brother by Gelin Battle

Not worth the money or the headache. There is no exact location.

This headband is great when you do not require precise placement, a tight stabilizer and correct top and bottom alignment. The included rulers (to stick to the outside edges of the tire) are in centimeters, not inches. You need to put 0 in the middle of your outside edges. where the center is not marked. The hoop is not an exact measurement so use inches or centimeters to find the center. The magnets are strong. So strong it snaps into place before you can do anything. And you can't see the frame from below to see the edges. The feeling goes so far. It goes wrong all the time and you can't just force it in place because it will displace your fabric and stabilizer. If you just clamp the gimbal, you can't just adjust (tear off) it to learn. That might be fine for quilting, but it's a nightmare for regular embroidery. I like precise placement. My guess is that they assume all machines have a sensor to automatically find the marked center and set the x and y axes. That's why they give you center stickers. Well, some of us don't have those fancy cars. My machine correctly recognizes the hoop. Not worth $150 for all the headaches it gave me. Never sewn with him. Also heavy. If you hit a heavy object that puts more strain on your arm, your machine may not be able to move freely. Gave them back.
