I wish I had known this before my kids were babies: It really works wonders! We temporarily have a sister and a 2-month-old niece, the child has colic lately (switching to a new mixture did not help). Enter this belt: it comes with a reusable pack that can be warmed up and inserted into the belt - it provides gentle compression and warmth on baby's tummy and seems to calm our niece quickly. The pouch can also be used as a cold compress. if you put it in the freezer for a few hours: it is filled with seeds and remains flexible even after several hours in the freezer, making it ideal for use on difficult areas such as knees or elbows (not only for babies, but also for older ones children and for all family members). What I would like to see improved is the packaging: at the time of writing this review it comes in a plain plastic bag with no indication of what it is. I would be willing to spend more money if the packaging was attractive: I would buy it for any new mother or mother-to-be, as I think that this belt is not something that the child "grows out" of: it can not only be used for colic ones be of great help. but the pack can be used as a cold compress for bumps and bruises, or as a warm compress for things like ear infections or even menstrual cramps.
