Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

In general, really satisfied. The product has flawless looks, and it feels great while you're holding it in your hands because of how well-designed it is. The battery life is really good, and the device has a very practical size (the smartphone is smaller than the Note 8). When compared to the Note 8, the sound quality of calls is significantly improved, both in terms of volume and clarity. I am holding out hope that 2022 will bring eSIM support. Some pros: As a replacement, I used my Note 8 instead. Due to the fact that I had a lot of issues with this Samsung smartphone over the course of a year and a half, I required the following from my new device: 1. Stability. So that a rogue application downloaded from the market, or even an outdated version of an existing application, does not cause the device to become inoperable, as I have experienced numerous times while using Android. 2. The ability to create a normal backup and recover the device normally, either from the cloud or from another device. This is technically available on Android, but in practice it behaves in an inefficient manner, restoring only some of the previous settings (and almost all applications just download from the market without restoring the data in them). 3. Screen. Not OLED. After using the Note 8 for about a year and a half, it became excruciating for me to look at the screen when it was set against a background that was more or less light. The YouTube video area on the screen burned out, and the keyboard was completely imprinted. Additionally, the navigation buttons, statusbar, and app navigation bar (top) were all burned out. 4. a pane of flat glass The rounded corners of the screen should not be used. Firstly, they are pointless and sometimes even get in the way due to unintentional clicks. Secondly, glass is not adhered to them (you can read the reviews) (you can read the reviews). In the case of glasses, this is a particularly crucial moment because, if they are not utilized, an opening in the oleophobic coating that protects the keyboard will develop after some time as a result of the swipe. When the finger no longer slides, dirt begins to accumulate. 5. Normal curated app store. To begin, with very few notable exceptions, the vast majority of Samsung applications are useless garbage. The Samsung Account, which is supposed to be comparable to iCloud, is totally incomprehensible and pointless. As a consequence of this, I am compelled to destroy everything and switch to using Google applications, which I also disliked in many respects. However, everything is pretty terrible with alternatives on Android; if they exist at all, they do not integrate with the system in any way, and many excellent applications have simply been abandoned by their developers (because for them nobody pays). The overall collection of apps is a significant step down from what iOS has to offer. For instance, there are no gorgeous versions of Bear or Notability for Android, both of which are applications that I have been utilizing for a very long time on the iPad Pro. In this respect, the XR is precisely what I had been searching for all along. The following are some of its negative aspects: Among the many problems, I want to call attention to the following: 1. An absence of original covers, with the exception of a terrible see-through variant (I decided to buy a Chinese silicone case made under the original one). 2. The absence of a second camera, which is necessary for taking portraits of any objects (the only thing missing after Note 8). 3. The fact that the kit does not come with an adapter for a 3.5mm jack (there is no excuse for this). 4. The 3.5mm jack itself is missing from the device. It is installed on both my 2022 MacBook Pro and my 2022 iPad Pro, but for some reason that defies logic, it is not installed on my iPhone. 5. The kit does not come with a fast charging option (this is simply a contradiction of the public position of Apple itself, which has been assuring everyone since the 80s that it would not sacrifice user experience for the sake of additional profit). This drawback is objective, but in my situation it is irrelevant because I have as many as two quick charges thanks to the existence of the iPad Pro and the MacBook Pro. In addition, the iPhone and iPad may be charged through the USB C connector on the MacBook at the same rapid rate as the MacBook itself when it is charged. 6. It can be challenging to locate standard protective eyewear. Some of them do not stick in the regular manner, some interfere with the covers, and others disrupt the normal functioning of the sensors. In my experience, I needed three different glasses before I saw a difference. Still, the auto-brightness feature and the proximity sensor started to function less reliably.
