I didn't actually get these for a party or packaging but because I saw someone on an Instagram account using them to protect tomatoes until they ripen on the plant. The perfect solution! I had problems with birds stealing both my peppers and tomatoes. They are good while they are still green, but once they start to mature, they become attractive to animals. Chicken netting is uncomfortable and I didn't want to wrap the netting around the entire plant; which would prevent bees and other pollinators from reaching the flowers. This is the ideal solution. Different sizes are suitable for different types of vegetables. Just cover the veggies before they blush, tie loosely with string, and voila! Now I can really enjoy the fruits of my labor!
