If I known then what I know now about cameras, I would never have bought this one. If you want professional-grade photos, I wouldn't recommend this camera. Instead, look into purchasing a single-lens reflex (SLR) camera or another model in the same class. Advantages that vary It takes decent macro shots, the quality is fine (though I wouldn't call it exceptional), the display is nice, and regular batteries can be used. Still, the quality (the quality on the camera screen is better than on the computer), is not user-friendly, the flash is foolish for me personally (it is hard to get used to it), it is not appropriate for filming concerts, and it is pretty hefty.
