Reduced boot time on Linux Ubuntu from 35 seconds to just under 15 seconds on HP Envy Phoenix (Intel i7 Gen 7). The previous drive was also an SSD. It also sped up my virtual box running Windows 10 Pro, which made CPU the limiting factor until I added two more CPUs from the Ubuntu side. Now I wish I had USB 3.1 Gen 1 to speed up backup and transfer of other large files.
