Review on ❄️ Frosty Ice Cube Plus Thermal Pad - 12.8 W/mK, 85x85mm, Dark Gray (2.0mm): Superior Cooling Solution for Efficient Heat Transfer by Marcus Freeman

Currently being tested but seems to be on par in terms of thermal conductivity compared to the Thermalright 12.8W/mK thermal pad. I've been a Thermalright user for all my other GPUs, but decided to give this one a try since it's 1) cheaper 2) twice the thermal material compared to Thermalright. First, Thermalright pads are overpriced as buying the exact same item directly from China (via Aliexpress) is much cheaper, but you have to be patient and wait for the shipment. For that reason alone I never bothered and always paid more for convenience and time. This is the main reason I was looking for an alternative brand with equivalent thermal conductivity and found this new product. This name has also been mentioned on some GPU forums, so I thought it was worth taking a look. Comparing Frosty Ice Cube and Thermalright I see the following: 1. Frosty Ice Cube is cheaper by the amount of material2. Frosty Ice Cube offers you twice as much material (85x85) as Thermaltake (85x45)3. Frosty ice cube - dark grey. Thermalright - Light Gray4. Frosty Ice Cube is a little softer - if you're looking for a more compressible thermal pad, this is for you. How soft? Unscientifically, I noticed that fingerprints can be embossed by touching the pad. As for the thermal right, fingerprints become visible when you touch and apply a little more pressure. Also, Frosty Ice Cube just feels softer when cut out and placed on the GPU.5. Package. Frost Ice Cube comes with a nice zip bag. Thermalright is just a thick paper holder. In terms of performance, both appear to be identical. As long as I'm happy!
