Review on Revolutionize Jewelry Design with NOVA3D Printer's Advanced UV Curing Technology by Gary Shakeone

Extremely sharp details and easy post-processing

As others have pointed out in their reviews it is important to know straight away that this is not a direct cast and burnout resin. However, it is an excellent high detail resin for crafting. This resin captures great detail and sharp edges, but feels soft and lacks flexibility. It can be sanded and machined very well, which simplifies post-processing. If you're making a silicone wax injection mold, this is a great place to start. You need a good craftsman to make a good mold and that makes it easy to make a good craftsman. I had to tweak the settings a bit to match the manufacturer's recommendations, but I like thin lines and sharp edges, and I don't use Nova3D either. Elfin for whom they wrote it. With my Voxelab Polaris, I had a bit of trouble keeping the thin sections together unless I increased the exposure time. The ring in my picture is a size 6 so it takes 10 seconds to get the lettering right. layers 50 µm. Base layers 6. Exposure time below 50s. Typical exposure time is 8s (small areas may require more exposure or they may come loose).

Pros
  • ✅ Better adaptability: NOVA3D 405 nm wax resin adapts to most LCD, DLP 3D printers, such as NOVA3D Elfin, Bene4, GEM, Anycubic Photon, Elegoo Mars and so on. You need to adjust the base according to the light intensity of your printer. (cannot be cast, but is suitable for silicone moulds).
Cons
  • A newer model could have been selected
