I put new batteries in the remote when I got it today and when I was trying to set it up. Nothing happened so I took out the batteries and found the negative spring connection. was so corroded that the battery could not come into contact with the battery. After cleaning both battery holders for a few minutes, I installed them for the TV and cable box. Then! notices that the backlight is not on. I personally feel cheated with this purchase.
