Review on KeepKey Simple Cryptocurrency Hardware Wallet by Danielle Ward

DO NOT BUY I bought this in 2016 for about $80, I really loved how easy it was to use. I had a basic app in Google Chrome and the security features seemed more advanced than the competition. I left him alone for 4 years. Now at $40 Decided to test my cryptocurrency in 2021 to find out the company that created the wallet that was sold to the exchange. And now the software is no longer supported to use and the only way to access the funds is by going through a Shapeshift exchange. Shapeshift doesn't work, it was in "beta" for many years, as I understand it was at its "peak". Hours on the internet, the site kept crashing and it even said my balance on my KeepKey was 0. 0! I was immediately afraid of being hacked or phished. I've been trying to reset my key all day (and my goodness, those security features became an issue after the fifth try). Extensive Googling turned up many problems with the shape change site, including a few similar to mine. At one point he said I had $1 in Ethereum in my account. But this was the first time he showed balance with money. I ended up checking in very early in the morning to know my initial balance. Throw all the money out of the key and throw it in the trash.
